These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NTS AI Bible (the "App"), developed and published by Needham Tech Studio LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
NTS AI Bible provides Bible reading, translations, annotations, reading plans, and AI-assisted study tools (devotionals, study guides, sermon outlines, and chat with our AI companion, "Aletheia"), along with optional community features for connecting with friends. Some features require an active paid subscription — see Section 5.
Aletheia is an AI tool, not a pastor, licensed counselor, therapist, or medical professional. Its responses are generated content, not professional, medical, mental-health, or legal advice, and should not be treated as a substitute for guidance from a qualified person. If you're in crisis, please see Section 4.
The App includes community features where you can share posts, prayer requests, reading-plan notes, and reactions with friends you've connected with ("User Content"). We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior of any kind. By using these features, you agree not to post, send, or share content that:
You are solely responsible for the User Content you share.
If you see content or behavior that violates this policy, you can report it directly from the app (tap the options menu on any post) or email us at jneedham@needhamtechstudio.com. You can also block another user at any time from the app; blocking immediately hides that person's content from you and notifies us for review. We aim to review reports and blocks within 24 hours and will remove violating content and may suspend or terminate the account responsible.
We may remove any User Content and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion and without prior notice, if we believe it violates this policy or these Terms.
The App is not a crisis service and is not monitored in real time. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, or you're having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, contact emergency services (911 in the US) or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US) right away.
Certain features (Aletheia's content-generation tools) require a paid subscription, billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Subscriptions auto-renew for the same term at the then-current price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — refunds are handled according to Apple's and Google's respective policies, not by us directly.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Appearance & account → Delete account, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, including the conduct policy in Section 3.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated or user-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or theologically sound for your particular tradition.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Needham Tech Studio LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including from User Content or AI-generated content.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest changes; continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
